In Memoriam: Prof. Dr. Murat SEZGİN (1974-2017)

Abstract

We lost our dear friend Prof. Dr. Murat Sezgin, a faculty member of Sinop University, Faculty of Fisheries, Department of Marine Biology, Department of Basic Sciences of Fisheries, on 28.07.2017. Prof. Dr. Sezgin was a valuable scientist who specialized in the biology and ecology of Crustacea and the taxonomy of Amphipoda. He made significant contributions to the development of the benthology laboratory at Sinop University, Faculty of Fisheries with his thesis and various projects on macrobenthic invertebrates.
